Calypso is rebranding and relaunching its popular Finding Nemo kids’ flavoured waters - this time featuring Pirates of the Caribbean to extend the appeal across a wider age range.

This latest move in the strategic partnership between Calypso and Disney Consumer Products is timed to coincide with the UK screening on May 25th of the third in the series of smash-hit Walt Disney Pictures Pirates of the Caribbean movies, At World’s End, starring Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom, Keira Knightley and Geoffrey Rush.

A sugar-free blend of natural mineral water and juice, Pirates of the Caribbean flavoured waters are supplied in 250ml sports-capped bottles in a choice of orange or strawberry and blackberry flavours.

They are available either as singles in outers of 24 at a recommended retail price of 39p, or as shrink-wrapped packs of six in outers of four at a recommended retail price of £1.89p.

"Finding Nemo caught the mood of younger children and helped them to drink more of the recommended amount of water each day in a way they found both fun and refreshing," said Richard Cooke, Calypso’s Sales and Marketing Director.

"The astounding success of the Pirates of the Caribbean films, with their appeal across a much broader age range, will capture more customers and add extra impetus to sales."

Pirates of the Caribbean
